The Safety Programs, Data and Analysis unit includes a Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) program which is partially funded by NHTSA. FARS is a nationwide census providing NHTSA, Congress and the American public annual data regarding fatal injuries suffered in motor vehicle traffic crashes. Access the FARS Encyclopedia.
The dashboard below represents the official and most current number of vehicle occupants or non-motorists killed in crashes involving a motor vehicle along Colorado public roadways. All crash data listings, reports and dashboards are protected under 23 U.S.C. Section 407.
